Shillengere Camp

Cancer screening camp was organized by Kalp Cancer Foundation in association with Dhanwantri Seva Trust, Haralukunte on 29^th September in Shillengere. One invasive oral cancer case was detected and patient was advised to undergo surgery. Fourteen potentially malignant oral lesions were found, from which scrapings were taken and sent for cytology. Six females tested VIA positive and were asked to undergo Colposcopic evaluation.

One female with thyroid swelling was detected and was referred to higher centre for further evaluation. No abnormal breast lesions were found.
