Painting Competition organized by Kalp Cancer Foundation on the occasion of World Cancer Day 2013.

Students of classes 7th to 9th from Gopalan National School, Whitefield and Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathhalli, Bangalore participated in the competition.
The theme for painting was , “You empower a man – you empower a person but if you empower a woman you empower a family”. All the students did a very good job. The winners were selected based on the imagination, closeness to theme and the painting skills. First prize was awarded to Miss Eashita Singh of 7th std from Gopalan National School. Miss Anusha, student of 8th std from Gopalan National School won Second prize. The prize distribution was held on 3rd February 2013 coinciding with the launch of Kalp.
