In association with Grameen Abhirudhi Sanshte, Toralakki Kalp Cancer Foundation arranged Cancer Screening Camp on 27th October at Huladenahalli, Malur Taluk.
One cervical cancer case was detected in advanced stage. She was referred to higher centre for further management. Ten potentially malignant oral cavity lesions were detected. All these people were educated about association of use of tobacco, betel nut and cancer. They were counselled to give up these habits. In females who were screened, 8 were found to be positive for VIA. They were advised to undergo colposcopic examination. One PAP smear was taken.
