Conducting screening of common cancers at PHCs

The permission was granted to Kalp Cancer Foundation, Bangalore to conduct screening of common cancers at 4 primary health Centres of Malur Taluk from the Govt of Karnataka. The 4 PHCs are Doddashivara, Masthi, Lakkur and Tekal. Foundation conducted cancer awareness activity for the doctors and health workers of PHCs of Malur Taluk on 30th October2015. Further we plan to do training of PHC doctors and health workers on 16th December. One day awareness session will be conducted for Asha workers. Then from January 2016 onwards, two camps will be conducted in each PHC.
