Cancer screening Camp at Natuve, Malur

Cancer screening camp was organized on 25th January by Kalp Cancer Foundation at Natuve village, Malur taluk in association with Gramein Abhirudhi Sansthe and local Gram Panchayath. The camp started with lighting lamp followed by addresses by Mr Rajanna of Gramein Abhirudhi Sansthe and Mr Rajendra, coordinator of CAN network. The need for such camps was explained by Dr Geeta S.N. Dr Shreya, Dr Swathi and S/N Sridevi assisted in conducting the camp. Three females were positive for VIA and underwent PAP test. No malignant case was identified. Most of the people had very poor oral and dental hygiene and were advised appropriately.
