Cancer screening Camp at Nagisettahalli

At Nagisettahalli, free cancer screening camp was organized on 16th February by Kalp Cancer Foundation in association with local NGO RUDA . Rayasandra, Kammasandra, Nagisettahalli , Chigarapura and Chembenahalli villages were covered. Camp was conducted by Dr Aruna. One potentially malignant oral cavity lesion was found. Four female were positive for VIA for whom PAP smears were taken. One case of carcinoma Breast was detected and was referred to higher centre for further management. One suspected case of Ca thyroid was advised to undergo further investigations.
