School activity at Thakshashila Vidyakendra

Kalp Cancer Foundation conducted quiz program on Cancer awareness among the students of Thakshshila Vidyakendra on 09/06/16. Adverse effects of tobacco and smoking were addressed along with counseling. The program was well received by both the students and teachers. One of the students composed poem against smoking. The certificates and gifts were awarded to to the students. The school has been established by Sri Venkatesh and Mrs Yamuna for the sole purpose of upliftment of children from the rural background by providing quality education without commercial interest
